Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable code and build robust systems across diverse Apple hardware and iOS versions.
- Design and evolve modular, scalable native iOS architecture.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot in development, testing, prototyping, and code review workflows.
- Build AI capabilities into native iOS applications using LLM-powered services and on-device Core ML.
- Prototype and evaluate emerging iOS frameworks and mobile AI technologies for production adoption.
- Profile, diagnose, and resolve runtime performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Systems, engineers, designers, architects, and product managers on technical designs.
- Maintain technical documentation, architectural decision records, and system diagrams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated software engineering experience with test-driven development, robust design practices, and distributed systems for enterprise iOS applications.
- Deep hands-on proficiency in Swift and native iOS development.
- Experience with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and VIPER.
- Experience integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into mobile applications, including LLM APIs, Core ML, or on-device inference tooling.
- Understanding of responsible AI deployment, data privacy, security perimeters, and mitigation of non-deterministic model outputs.
- Experience using AI coding tools with sound judgment in verifying generated code.
- Familiarity with enterprise microservices integration patterns, event-driven architectures, and API gateway communication.
- Experience with SaaS lifecycles, automated testing, deployment, and production observability.
