Senior DevOps Engineer (Active Secret Clearance)

Responsibilities
- Automate infrastructure as code to manage virtual machines and deploy containers, services, and other infrastructure.
- Deploy customized Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, GCP, on-premises, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Maintain, optimize, enhance, integrate, customize, and configure customer software deployments.
- Deploy software to commercial, unclassified, CUI, and classified DOD networks.
- Monitor, automate, and improve software reliability, performance, and availability.
- Respond to incidents and perform initial triage of critical system faults.
- Collaborate with platform developers, DevOps teammates, and customer-facing teams to define requirements and build platform solutions.
- Help software engineers and data scientists deploy and operate their work as functional products.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior DevOps team members when needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with Python and/or Golang or another general-purpose programming language.
- At least 6 years of experience deploying microservices in Kubernetes and diagnosing issues in containerized environments.
- At least 6 years of experience developing or deploying Helm Charts and Kustomizations.
- At least 6 years of experience with automation and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform and Ansible.
- At least 6 years of experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack.
- At least 6 years of experience managing and troubleshooting Linux systems such as RHEL, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to define requirements and build customer solutions.
- Ability to respond professionally and competently to incident reports and triage critical system faults.
- Active Secret or higher US security clearance is required.
- US citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience includes federal information system security policies and standards such as STIGs, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, CMMC, and ICD 503.
- Preferred experience includes deployments to DOD unclassified, CUI, and classified networks.
- Preferred experience includes DevSecOps/DevOps and CI/CD administration and deployment for GPU-enabled servers.
- Preferred experience includes deploying or maintaining CNCF projects, NAS and SAN technologies, and Kubernetes or cloud-native applications in DDIL environments.
