Responsibilities

  • Lead detection, analysis, and response across cloud, SaaS, identity, endpoint, and software supply chain environments.
  • Investigate and remediate incidents across AWS, GCP, Azure, Okta, SaaS environments, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Investigate and contain software supply chain and CI/CD incidents involving build environments and third-party dependencies.
  • Build and maintain detection-as-code infrastructure, SOAR automation, and incident response playbooks.
  • Use Panther, CrowdStrike, and other security platforms for SIEM, endpoint detection, and response.
  • Conduct proactive threat hunting, operationalize threat intelligence, and perform digital forensics and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on secure configurations and development practices.
  • Develop and deliver security operations and incident response training to engineers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in threat detection, security operations, or incident response.
  • Experience investigating incidents across cloud platforms, identity providers, and SaaS applications, with practical knowledge of audit logging and IAM.
  • Proficiency in Python for security scripting and automation; Bash, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Git workflows, and pull-request-based code reviews.
  • Experience investigating software supply chain threats and auditing ecosystems such as npm and PyPI, build logs, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with detection-as-code methodologies, tested detection logic, and CI/CD-based rule management.
  • Strong experience with SIEM platforms such as Panther, Splunk, or Elastic Security.
  • Deep experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne, including macOS endpoint security and telemetry.
  • Experience with digital forensics, root-cause analysis, common attack TTPs, and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, plus curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.
