Base Salary
$209k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze large proprietary and open-source datasets to identify patterns, correlations, outliers, and anomalies.
- Formulate and test hypotheses about data distributions and regularities.
- Design, implement, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for financial data and documents.
- Write production code implementing predictive models and algorithms.
- Write tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of productionized models.
- Conduct peer review of research, prototypes, models, and code.
- Conduct original machine learning research and remain current with statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Maintain and acquire expertise in numerical programming, statistical programming, data analysis, and machine learning tools.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- At least one year of experience in data science or a related quantitative occupation.
- One year of experience involving machine learning and artificial intelligence tools, data preprocessing, exploration and visualization, data management and storage, deployment and machine learning operations, machine learning research, code production, and agentic systems.
- Experience with Jupyter, Matplotlib, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and large language model code generation and tool utilization.
