Responsibilities
- Define and own the Azure infrastructure architecture for the Wayside IT platform.
- Translate cybersecurity, customer, and project requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Design Azure architectures covering high availability, security, performance, and FinOps.
- Address networking topics including VNET, ingress, and gateways.
- Contribute to the Kubernetes/AKS platform architecture, configuration, deployment, and operations.
- Structure DevOps patterns for CI/CD, deployment, and monitoring.
- Work with infrastructure leads, software architects, product teams, and systems teams as a transverse technical reference.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of confirmed cloud architecture experience.
- Strong Azure infrastructure architecture skills.
- Good knowledge of network security, high availability, and FinOps.
- Good knowledge of Kubernetes and AKS configuration and deployment.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD.
- Open-source culture and knowledge required.
- Ability to manage multiple constraints and work transversely with a structured, solution-oriented approach.
