Responsibilities
- Build and customize responsive SAPUI5 applications using MVC architecture, component-based patterns, and standard UI5 structures.
- Implement OData-based data flows, client-side models, bindings, and service-mocking approaches.
- Develop AI-native UI experiences using LLM-integrated guidance, tool-augmented interactions, retrieval-grounded generation, deterministic fallbacks, and evaluation loops.
- Create automated unit and acceptance test coverage for UI components and AI behaviors using QUnit and OPA-style approaches.
- Optimize performance, accessibility, maintainability, coding consistency, observability, and regression reliability.
- Apply SAP Fiori design principles and collaborate with business stakeholders through prototyping, demonstrations, iteration, and production hardening.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong hands-on SAPUI5 development and enterprise UI engineering experience.
- Mastery of MVC architecture, responsive UI construction, and component-driven SAPUI5 development.
- Experience with OData, service mocking, JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and Git-based collaboration.
- Ability to build LLM-integrated, grounded, tool-augmented, and evaluation-driven user experiences.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5 versus OpenUI5, and UI testing approaches including QUnit and OPA-style acceptance testing.
- 15 years of full-time education.
