Base Salary

$153k - $218k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end cloud, data, application modernization, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and DevSecOps solutions aligned with agency requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Identify customer needs, technology trends, and government contract vehicles to shape new solution offerings.
  • Build relationships with government technical leaders, industry partners, and internal subject matter experts.
  • Create reusable reference architectures, concept diagrams, prototypes, and past-performance technical narratives.
  • Lead technical proposal volume development and partner with capture, business development, and CTO teams on win themes and solution architecture.
  • Present technical solutions in client meetings, industry days, oral presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Ensure proposed solutions are realistic, deliverable, and compliant with relevant government frameworks.
  • Support price-to-win and technical risk assessments with pricing and contracts teams.
  • Use AI-enabled tools for research, analysis, drafting, solution development, and visualization with appropriate accuracy, security, privacy, and human oversight.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience designing, building, and delivering technical solutions as a practicing architect or engineer, most recently in government contracting or systems integration.
  • Experience in one or more of cloud infrastructure, enterprise data platforms, application modernization, cybersecurity, or AI/automation.
  • Ability to translate RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought requirements into compelling, compliant, and deliverable technical solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including architecture diagram creation and presentations to client and executive audiences.
  • Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53/800-171, RMF, CMMC, and Section 508.
  • Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, solution development, or drafting, with understanding of their limitations and controls.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven proposal environment with shifting priorities.
  • Applicants must meet U.S. Government security clearance eligibility requirements; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Active Public Trust, Secret, or Top Secret clearance is preferred.
  • Relevant AWS, Azure, or GCP Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CISSP, or PMP certification is preferred.
  • Prior pre-sales, capture support, proposal writing, or GovCon financial and pricing experience is preferred.
