Responsibilities
- Deliver large, complex software systems to production and create measurable customer value.
- Own software outcomes from concept through production deployment and operational support.
- Drive execution across multiple teams by removing obstacles and creating clarity.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and engineering excellence.
- Ensure software quality and reliability through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within schedule and budget.
- Foster continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale software systems to customers, including ownership through production deployment and operational support.
- Strong software design and development experience with Java and distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and technical leaders.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Desired experience with autonomous systems, robotics, industrial automation, distributed control systems, real-time software, networking, distributed application debugging, or operationally critical environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
