Base Salary
$135k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, component-driven front-end systems for consumer-facing MoneyLion products.
- Partner with product, design, analytics, and backend engineers to shape and reliably deliver solutions.
- Improve application performance, accessibility, maintainability, consistency, and production readiness.
- Implement A/B tests, event tracking, and measurement capabilities to support experimentation and learning.
- Use AI tools for prototyping, scaffolding, refactoring, and exploratory development while validating output.
- Build and maintain automated unit, component, integration, and end-to-end test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and support a high bar for engineering quality.
- Integrate headless and enterprise CMS platforms, including content modeling, delivery APIs, and editor-friendly workflows.
- Monitor and debug user-facing applications in production.
- Complete recruiter, hiring manager, two live coding, and product manager interview stages.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, including advanced typing, component architecture, and reusable design patterns.
- Strong understanding of browser rendering, event handling, networking, and performance characteristics.
- Experience scaling component-driven applications, including state management, data flow, and separation of concerns.
- Experience with front-end performance optimization such as code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, and runtime efficiency.
- Experience designing and integrating APIs, including asynchronous data, caching, and UI error states.
- Experience implementing testing strategies across unit, component, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Experience with Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and front-end build and deployment workflows.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and product partnership skills.
- Preferred experience with React Native, high-scale consumer applications, experimentation platforms, A/B testing, event instrumentation, Cursor or similar AI-powered IDEs, and modern AI coding models.
