Responsibilities
- Develop container management software and support critical cloud platforms.
- Build and support AWS cloud environments, DevOps tools, and continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Build container images and orchestrate deployments in Kubernetes.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code environments, automated configurations, large-scale deployments, monitoring, and testing.
- Manage Helm-deployed tools and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Develop and support custom applications in production environments.
- Support container networking, monitoring, storage, and security, including evaluating and remediating vulnerability findings.
- Inform platform strategy and design, recommend resources for secure container adoption, and ensure containerization standards are met.
- Identify and implement automation improvements to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and supporting AWS cloud DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- At least 4 years of containerization experience, including image building and Kubernetes deployment orchestration.
- At least 4 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments, automated configurations, large-scale software deployments, monitoring, or testing.
- At least 3 years of experience managing Helm tools and using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience developing and supporting custom applications in production.
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, storage solutions, and container security technologies.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within six months of hire.
- Preferred experience includes Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby scripting; JSON, REST, and XML system integration; and YAML configuration.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model or DevSecOps Maturity Model.
- A bachelor's degree and cloud certifications are preferred; a master's degree is a plus.
