Base Salary
$111k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Validate and debug graphics drivers and applications.
- Integrate upcoming graphics features into end-to-end validation flows.
- Triage reported failures and drive issue resolution with software and hardware development teams.
- Work across Display, Media, 3D, Compute, and power-conservation components.
- Analyze cross-component features to develop robust end-user test scenarios.
- Develop debug tools to improve graphics validation and debugging efficiency.
- Enable graphics features for content creation, gaming, and AI applications to improve functionality and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 1+ years; or a pursuing PhD with 6+ months of relevant work or academic experience.
- Experience with computer graphics hardware and software and GPUs.
- Required software development expertise in C, C++, and Python.
- Validation and debugging/triage experience at the ingredient or platform level in Graphics, Media, or Display Technology.
- Experience with CI/CD and automating complex workflows.
- Preferred experience with DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, Windows OS architecture, framework and kernel debugging, Windows kernel internals, WDM/WDF, kernel-mode drivers, media codecs, x86 device architecture, and debug tools such as WinDbg, PIX, GPA, GPUView, emulators, and JTAG debuggers.
- Preferred understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, techniques, best practices, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
