Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Use OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and similar tools to support software development.
- Direct coding agents by defining objectives, constraints, acceptance criteria, tools, and deliverables.
- Break complex problems into smaller tasks and guide agents through implementation and revision.
- Use agents to navigate codebases, implement features, investigate defects, refactor applications, generate documentation, and automate repetitive engineering work.
- Review AI-generated code for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, testability, and team standards.
- Develop automated unit, integration, or system tests and protect against regressions.
- Document reusable prompts, patterns, guardrails, and agent workflows.
- Measure and communicate time savings, cycle-time improvements, code quality, test coverage, and reduced repetitive work.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, sprint planning, demonstrations, and other Agile development activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Must graduate between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Must commit to either May 17th–August 6th or May 24th–August 13th.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
- Must have reliable transportation to the Arden Hills, Minnesota corporate location.
- Hands-on software development experience through coursework, projects, research, hackathons, employment, or a previous internship.
- Hands-on experience using OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or a comparable agentic coding tool beyond simple code completion.
- Ability to explain agent prompting, context and constraints, output evaluation, and correction of unsuccessful results.
- Understanding of version control, debugging, APIs, data structures, testing, and object-oriented or modular design.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure, or similar source-control platforms.
- Ability to critically review AI-generated code, troubleshoot technical problems, and verify requirements.
- Preferred: a portfolio example showing agent-driven development from problem definition through tested implementation.
- Preferred: experience with repository-level instructions, reusable prompt templates, tool configurations, or automated agent workflows.
- Preferred: knowledge of C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Preferred: familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, SQL or NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, or cloud-native application development.
- Preferred: exposure to healthcare technology, medical devices, digital health, ECG data, cardiac monitoring, or another regulated industry.
