Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve Linux operating systems for bare-metal and third-party cloud servers.
- Build and operate large-scale, fault-tolerant systems combining software and systems engineering.
- Troubleshoot operating-system components and system software, including storage and networking.
- Improve automated operating-system monitoring, software deployment, and upgrade processes.
- Support new CPU, GPU, networking, and storage platforms by evolving system software.
- Optimize AIOps tools for large-scale clusters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related major.
- Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, multithreaded programming, server performance optimization, operating systems, and IT.
- Proficiency with Linux shell commands.
- Expertise in one or more of C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, or CUDA.
- Experience in Linux operating-system development or a similar field is preferred.
- Familiarity with computer architecture, the server development life cycle, Linux/Unix architecture, Linux Kernel mechanisms and programming, systemd, glibc, and Kubernetes is preferred.
