Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
- Build AI-powered solutions using LLMs, AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG, and intelligent automation.
- Drive adoption of AI-Augmented Software Development Lifecycle practices and AI-powered developer tooling.
- Implement API-first and spec-driven development using OpenAPI and AsyncAPI.
- Collaborate with architects, AI engineers, consultants, and client teams to deliver business solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams and establish best practices for AI-native engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Approximately 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, distributed systems, and modern software architecture.
- Experience with AI-augmented software delivery, generative AI, LLM-based solutions, AI agents, agentic workflows, RAG, and AI-powered developer tooling.
- Knowledge of API-first and spec-driven development, DevOps, GitOps, and platform engineering.
- Strong communication skills, technical leadership, growth mindset, and commitment to continuous innovation.
- Dutch language skills are advantageous.
- Bonus qualifications include Model Context Protocol, AI governance, Responsible AI, vector databases, knowledge retrieval architectures, internal developer platforms, and open-source contributions.
