Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL database solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/pgSQL procedures, and functions.
- Lead and support Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration activities, including stored procedure, package, and query conversion.
- Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and availability.
- Implement database backup, recovery, and maintenance strategies.
- Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow database governance standards.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in PostgreSQL database development.
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/pgSQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience with Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience with backup, recovery, and database administration activities.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
