Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across Azure, GCP, and AWS cloud platforms.
- Assess cloud environments for vulnerabilities, risks, and misconfigurations and implement remediation strategies.
- Develop and enforce cloud security architecture, policies, standards, and guidance.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud systems for threats using SIEM, CSPM, and cloud-native security tools.
- Lead incident response for cloud security events and support forensic investigations.
- Automate infrastructure-as-code security checks, security testing, and compliance processes.
- Track emerging threats, cloud technologies, and cloud security best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on cloud security.
- Hands-on experience securing at least one major cloud platform, with multi-cloud experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, identity and access management, networking, and encryption.
- Experience with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting and automation tools.
- Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security Engineer, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are preferred.
- Preferred experience includes securing AI/ML workloads, data platforms, or modern application architectures; Zero Trust; cloud-native security; threat modeling; and secure software design.
