Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions with high quality, scalability, performance, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers while contributing to coding, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support system reliability and availability.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, operations, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.
- Define and prioritize the technical roadmap and own the technical vision for the product area.
- Establish coding standards and architectural guidelines and drive engineering best practices.
- Represent engineering in cross-functional meetings and communicate technical concepts, progress, and challenges to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of industry experience.
- Full-stack development experience with a strong focus on Java.
- Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate, JPA, RESTful APIs, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, and Git.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate business goals into a structured technical roadmap and bridge business requirements with technical architecture documents.
- Ability to establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and engineering best practices across a team.
