Base Salary
$81k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain secure software development practices, secure coding guidance, security requirements, and security controls across development teams.
- Perform code reviews and collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Enhance and monitor CI/CD pipelines and security tooling, including vulnerability monitoring, logging, and analytics.
- Secure and scan container images, build artifacts, and software packages before deployment and maintain secure registries.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop risk treatment plans, create security policies and objectives, and maintain security reports.
- Manage vendor relationships and support audits, incident response, compliance processes, and security program implementation.
- Define disaster recovery and business continuity requirements and assist with facilitating disaster recovery tests.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 2–5 years of related work experience.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and running implementations from start to finish.
- Experience serving as a team lead or managing a team of security professionals.
- Experience with monitoring and analytics platforms such as Azure Log Analytics, Google Cloud Operations, AWS CloudWatch, Sentry, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Experience with at least one programming language, including JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PHP, or C#.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience applying software development lifecycle security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and NIST.
- Experience configuring infrastructure and application alerts, alarms, and notifications.
- Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, Software Security Engineer, Security Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle practices, secure coding principles, and security standards such as OWASP Top 10, NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Benchmarks.
- Comfort using Git version control and strong analytical, communication, collaboration, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
