Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for software build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Design and support highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Design, deploy, and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Improve platform performance, cost efficiency, operational resilience, observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Implement infrastructure and application security practices, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, product, and operations teams on cloud adoption, deployment strategies, architectural reviews, and platform strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and drive automation, platform modernization, and DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience architecting, building, and supporting highly scalable software and infrastructure solutions.
- Production workload deployment and management experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience implementing and supporting Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Demonstrated experience designing highly available, scalable, and reliable solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based application design, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, multi-tenancy, distributed systems, Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Familiarity with cloud and application security best practices and modern software technologies including .NET Core, .NET Framework, Java, and JavaScript.
- Cloud certifications, enterprise Kubernetes experience, highly available cloud architecture experience, security-framework familiarity, Jira experience, Agile environment experience, and large-scale SaaS or cloud-native platform experience are preferred.
