Base Salary
$75k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform threat modeling, security code reviews, security assessments, security hardening reviews, and security design evaluations throughout the SSDLC.
- Analyze application security architecture, identify critical deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor and remediate application security alerts and vulnerabilities, including malware, injection attacks, and unauthorized access.
- Implement application security controls such as authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, and application security testing.
- Develop cloud automation routines, automate operational tasks, and design self-service application security options.
- Create security documentation and standard operating procedures, report findings, and track remediation to closure.
- Audit application security and operational configurations and promote adherence to application security standards and policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of related experience or equivalent experience demonstrating applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skills.
- Experience administering, configuring, and implementing SaaS systems or software in the healthcare domain.
- Knowledge of .NET Framework, C++, Java, Python, software development toolsets, and static and dynamic application scanning tools.
- Preferred certifications include Security+, CISSP, CISM, CIAM, or AWS/Azure Security Specialist.
- Ability to identify problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, work independently, and develop knowledge in the specialty area.
