Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Java/Spring Boot backend services, microservices, APIs, and billing integrations.
- Write, test, maintain, debug, and release high-quality software for consumer billing platforms.
- Support deployment and operation of billing services in AWS and EKS, including logging, monitoring, resilience, and deployment automation.
- Troubleshoot incidents, resolve defects, and improve service reliability across production and non-production environments.
- Develop application components interacting with Oracle Database and support billing flows, reconciliations, and service continuity.
- Contribute to solution design, code reviews, technical refinement, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture, Operations, engineers, and dependent systems.
Requirements
- Experience developing, testing, and supporting backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, integration patterns, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience contributing to software delivery through coding, debugging, testing, release support, and defect resolution.
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent technical qualification is listed as desirable.
- Desirable experience includes AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, Oracle Database and SQL, CI/CD and deployment automation, enterprise billing platforms, NetCracker RBM, production support, incident management, and AI-assisted development tools.
