Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance Java and Spring Boot backend services, microservices, APIs, and integrations for consumer billing.
- Contribute to solution design, code reviews, technical refinement, automated testing, and agreed engineering standards.
- Support build, deployment, release, incident troubleshooting, defect resolution, logging, monitoring, and service reliability activities across AWS and EKS environments.
- Develop application components interacting with Oracle Database and support billing flows, reconciliations, integrations, and dependencies involving NetCracker RBM.
- Contribute to CI/CD improvement, deployment automation, and continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering, Product, QA, Architecture, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- Experience developing, testing, and supporting backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, integration patterns, and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience contributing to software delivery through coding, debugging, testing, release support, and defect resolution within an engineering team.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- AWS and EKS/Kubernetes experience, Oracle Database and SQL knowledge, CI/CD and deployment automation experience, enterprise billing experience, NetCracker RBM exposure, production support, incident management, and AI-assisted development tools are desirable.
