Base Salary
$142k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build services, automation, and developer tooling for safe software releases and deployments.
- Develop progressive rollouts, deployment health analysis, and automated rollback capabilities.
- Improve visibility into releases, deployments, configuration, and production state.
- Diagnose recurring issues and improve the reliability, performance, observability, and usability of Delivery systems.
- Create reusable, self-service release workflows and identify AI-enabled automation opportunities.
- Independently deliver well-scoped engineering projects from technical design through production operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent, plus three years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing production software in one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and operating production software or infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, deployment systems, developer tooling, or backend services.
- Experience independently delivering well-scoped software engineering projects.
- Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools across multiple stages of the software engineering lifecycle.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, AWS, containers, infrastructure as code, deployment platforms, release automation, internal developer platforms, developer tooling, progressive delivery, Argo CD, or Helm.
