Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Windows desktop applications using C++ and MFC.
- Implement efficient data structures and algorithms with STL.
- Design and implement multithreaded and synchronized solutions to improve performance and responsiveness.
- Develop and integrate software components using COM.
- Debug, troubleshoot, optimize, and improve application scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver software solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and support software quality.
- Contribute to Agile development processes and additional development tasks involving C#, NUnit, and network protocol debugging.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or equivalent qualifying degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and hands-on experience with MFC for Windows desktop application development.
- Good understanding of STL and object-oriented programming principles.
- Expertise in multithreading and synchronization techniques.
- Experience with COM-based development and integration, debugging tools, performance optimization, version control, and software development best practices.
- Experience with Git or SVN and an Agile development environment.
- Preferred qualifications include C# application development, NUnit, network protocol debugging and analysis, software testing automation, continuous integration, and AI-assisted development tools.
