Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integrations with EHR systems and lab partners.
- Reverse-engineer poorly documented APIs and navigate inconsistent standards.
- Build robust data pipelines that handle real-world edge cases.
- Ensure security, auditability, and resilience in data handling.
- Own work from commit to production and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with the integrations lead and engineering team.
Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals with clean, maintainable backend code.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
- Clear communication skills to explain technical tradeoffs.
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, and AWS is preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards like FHIR and HL7 is a plus.
