Responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-performance applications for web, desktop, mobile, and TV platforms.
- Define feature specifications and build products in collaboration with product management and design teams.
- Develop complex responsive native and web applications and optimize front-end rendering across platforms.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs in collaboration with backend architects.
- Create front-end code templates using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON/XML, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with operations on feature reliability and scalability.
- Create configuration, build, and test scripts for continuous integration, deployment, and web security.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews and serve as a technical domain authority across applications and product lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level engineering or computer science education, MTech in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience developing end-user-facing applications.
- Proven portfolio of cross-platform, scalable applications for end users.
- Extensive experience consuming RESTful web services.
- Experience with Git and Jenkins in distributed source control and continuous integration environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of application security.
- Experience presenting to and managing expectations of technical and non-technical partners.
- Strong working experience with Agile development methodology.
- Passion for user experience design and improving usability.
