Base Salary
$129k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build native client features and components for macOS and Windows.
- Write clean, testable code with unit and UI tests and perform code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development and production bugs and participate in postmortems.
- Collaborate with backend, security, product, design, and platform teams to integrate capabilities.
- Lead medium-complexity features from design through completion when needed.
- Share knowledge, mentor junior engineers, and model responsible use of AI tooling.
- Evaluate platform frameworks and security capabilities and propose technical improvements.
- Work independently with minimal guidance to determine technical approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of related experience, or master’s degree plus 3 years, or PhD plus 0 years, or equivalent related work experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing native desktop applications for macOS with Swift and SwiftUI and/or Windows with C# and .NET frameworks such as WinForms or WPF.
- Experience building responsive user interfaces with SwiftUI or UIKit and debugging UI issues using Xcode or comparable tools.
- Experience with REST APIs and HTTP integration.
- Preferred experience with authentication, identity management, zero-trust security principles, and security-sensitive or regulated environments.
- Preferred experience with hardware security features such as TPM and Secure Enclave.
- Preferred cross-platform macOS and Windows development, performance optimization, and native application debugging experience.
- Open-source contributions or a GitHub portfolio are preferred.
- Preferred experience with secure credential storage APIs such as Keychain and Credential Manager.
- Experience with mentoring, code reviews, UI testing, unit testing, AI coding assistants, or modern development tooling is preferred.
