Base Salary
$93k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize observability solutions using Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and dashboarding strategies while managing SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve application resiliency and performance.
- Lead incident response, root cause analysis, performance testing, and reliability reviews.
- Champion microservices, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Drive CI/CD automation and improve deployment speed, stability, and quality.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related technology roles with observability and monitoring experience.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering software in large-scale environments using reliability and resilience concepts such as multi-region, multi-cloud, and containerization.
- At least 2 years of experience with AI/AIOps and Java or Python.
- At least 2 years of experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, microservices, Rancher, Docker, Kubernetes, and web APIs.
- At least 2 years of experience with source control and continuous integration tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, or Jenkins.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a high-school diploma plus four years of relevant experience is also accepted.
- Preferred experience includes incident, change, infrastructure, and problem management; retail or pharmacy systems at scale; cloud development and deployment; containerization; multi-cloud configurations; and API management platforms such as Apigee, Vordel, and DataPower.
