Responsibilities

Develop and execute system-level integration test procedures derived from software requirements and document outcomes.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated regression tests using Python or comparable scripting tools.
Analyze production code, logs, traces, and diagnostic data to troubleshoot, reproduce, isolate, document, and retest integration defects.
Install, configure, load, and integrate subsystem software builds into laboratory equipment suites using hardware, simulators, and networked systems.
Develop utilities, scripts, and integration support tools for testing, automation, and diagnostics.
Maintain laboratory system operability and equipment readiness while supporting integration activities and troubleshooting distributed software components.
Plan and coordinate laboratory resource usage and collaborate with software, systems engineering, and integration teams.
Support integration events and testing activities outside standard business hours as required.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance or other required authorization.
Ability to work on-site in laboratory environments and support testing outside standard business hours.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2–4 years of experience in software integration, system test, or software engineering in a structured, configuration-controlled environment.
Experience executing system-level test procedures derived from documented requirements and troubleshooting distributed software systems in Linux/Unix environments.
Ability to read and analyze C/C++, Java, or similar production code for integration troubleshooting and gray-box validation.
Proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting language.
Experience analyzing logs, traces, and diagnostic data for root cause analysis.
Preferred experience includes distributed or system-of-systems architectures, pub/sub messaging, automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, automated build/test environments, version control, artifact management, issue and requirements tracking tools, performance analysis, and relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Security+.
