Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable software using established software development practices and standards.
- Participate in all parts of the software development process, from design through implementation and deployment.
- Optimize algorithms and software designs for computational efficiency and scalability.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Interact directly with clients on new features and future product releases.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to share software design and solution ideas.
- Develop thought leadership through scientific papers and conference participation on behalf of BCG X.

- Experience applying software development practices and standards to build robust, maintainable software.
- Experience guiding non-technical teams and consultants on software development best practices.
- Ability to optimize algorithms and software designs for computational efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-oriented, client-facing environment.
- Problem-solving ability and intellectual curiosity across industries and topics.
- Programming experience with Python.
