Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate innovative products and services in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
- Develop scalable solutions using cloud-native architectures and microservices in distributed computing environments.
- Build and maintain resilient, fault-tolerant, scalable, and cost-effective systems.
- Work on video and audio streaming quality, observability, encoding optimization, next-generation codecs, and streaming architecture.
- Implement ML features, model architectures, training pipelines, and real-time inference solutions for device and cloud environments.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design reviews, and technical documentation.
- Write clean, maintainable code using software engineering best practices and design patterns.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while participating in on-call responsibilities.
- Use and contribute to AI-powered development productivity tools.
Requirements
- Experience with video and image processing, compression algorithms and standards, computer vision, and/or machine learning.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies.
- Programming experience with Python, Java, or C++.
- Bachelor’s degree or above, or current enrollment in a relevant Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM program.
- Experience implementing data structures, developing basic algorithms, and/or applying object-oriented design principles.
- Expected graduation by November 2026 or graduation within the previous 24 months.
- Preferred experience includes technical internships or project work, video encoding and streaming media standards, on-device embedded or resource-constrained hardware, AI development tools, cloud platforms, databases, open-source projects, version control, and debugging complex systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, attention-to-detail, and English-language communication skills are preferred.
