Base Salary
$180k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build internal collection-operations products for tasking, site standup, device inventory, shift tracking, and local tooling that works with poor connectivity.
- Observe field and operations workflows, ship software that removes bottlenecks, and measure useful collection hours per person.
- Make launching new sites and countries a repeatable product process.
- Create site-health views showing recording status, failures, and upload issues for field leads and engineering.
- Connect field tools with data infrastructure and marketplace incentives related to ingest and pay.
- Travel or embed with field teams when needed to build the right product.
Requirements
- Be a strong generalist software engineer who enjoys shipping products for operators rather than only backend services.
- Be comfortable with messy real-world operations and 0-to-1 tools.
- Be willing to travel or work closely with field teams.
- Measure success by whether scaling teams can scale more effectively.
- Preferred experience includes field, operations, logistics, or deployment teams; launching tools at new sites or in new countries; marketplace, incentive, or operations products; and Linux/Python or hardware-adjacent debugging.
