Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, optimize, retrain, and maintain complex machine learning models.
- Design and manage MLOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery, monitoring, model retraining, and reliable production operation.
- Research generative AI and evaluate emerging technologies for business relevance within the National Security Domain.
- Deliver complex, high-risk AI proofs of concept and provide specialist generative AI advice across the organization.
- Integrate models with existing systems and verify that live models remain safe, secure, effective, and performant.
- Mentor junior team members, act as a technical expert, and influence technical decisions on complex problems.
Requirements
- Broad technical expertise and deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience building, deploying, and managing complex machine learning models.
- Experience or capability in generative AI research, data science techniques, emerging technology evaluation, and AI prototyping.
- Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance, including the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and five or more years of continuous UK residence.
