Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and maintain Microsoft Azure resources using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Administer Azure networking, compute, storage, databases, identity, and monitoring services.
- Automate deployments, configurations, and recurring operations with Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
- Provide level 3 support for complex Azure platform incidents, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement durable corrective actions.
- Contribute to Azure solution architecture and evolution in line with security, governance, and Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Manage identities and access using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and SSO integrations.
- Contribute to Azure governance through Landing Zones, Azure Policies, and standardized deployment templates.
- Monitor Azure and on-premise environments for availability, performance, and integrity.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Development teams to validate changes, coordinate testing, and deliver solutions to production.
- Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
- Provide technical expertise and support to level 2 support teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and evolution of the cloud platform.
Requirements
- Significant practical experience administering and operating Microsoft Azure environments in production.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure services, including networking, compute, storage, and monitoring.
- Good command of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, and identity management.
- Knowledge of Azure governance, including Landing Zones and Azure Policies.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and YAML.
- Strong scripting and automation skills, particularly with PowerShell.
- Good understanding of cloud security best practices.
- Strong diagnostic and complex technical incident-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams in an international environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Docker, AKS, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Front Door, or other Azure services is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
