Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to troubleshoot issues and answer technical questions.
  • Analyze bug reports, reproduce issues, determine root causes, and provide fixes.
  • Design new features and define technical approaches and implementation patterns.
  • Write production code and relevant unit test cases.
  • Contribute to end-to-end automated testing for new changes.
  • Review other developers’ designs and code and improve engineering efficiency.
  • Write infrastructure code using Terraform and Helm charts.
  • Support an MLOps platform for deploying and monitoring machine learning models and providing statistical analysis of real-time model usage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar software engineering role.
  • Understanding of microservices patterns and large-scale software design.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux, Bash, file systems, command-line tools, logging, and Linux file permissions.
  • Experience with Go, Python, C++, or Java with knowledge of the Spring framework.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Knowledge of relational database design, Terraform, Helm, and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Understanding of SSL, UDP/TCP, firewalls, and reverse proxies.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a customer-facing role.
  • Preferred experience with gRPC, Scala, Akka, Druid Database, scikit-learn, PyTorch, NumPy, and pandas.
