Responsibilities
- Perform application security assessments, including white-box and black-box penetration testing, static code analysis, and software code reviews.
- Integrate security measures into SDLC and DevOps pipelines.
- Collaborate with product development teams to support secure software development and security awareness.
- Research and propose practical mitigation strategies for identified security vulnerabilities.
- Help develop tools to automate and manage security assessment activities.
- Travel up to 20% based on business needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in application security.
- Basic understanding of cryptographic key algorithms, network security, security fundamentals, defense-in-depth, and the CIA security pillars.
- Relevant programming experience in several languages, including Java, C# .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, and C/C++.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively and communicate effectively in English.
- CISSP or equivalent certification is desired.
- Familiarity with web application and web service vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25.
- Familiarity with static analysis, dynamic analysis, software composition analysis, and penetration testing tools.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python is desired.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, IoT, and container technologies is desired.
