SCADA Integration Engineer
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Install, configure, customize, troubleshoot, and deploy software applications and solutions.
- Install and configure databases and virtualized environments.
- Implement software systems and perform on-site customer acceptance testing.
- Conduct integration testing to distinguish configuration issues from product defects.
- Support design teams working on AEMS/ADMS systems.
- Collaborate with delivery managers, software factories, delivery centers, implementation services teams, and customers.
- Travel as required, including to customer sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's-level engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Science from an accredited university or college.
- At least 4 years of experience in services, ideally involving Computer Science, IT networking, software integration, and deployment.
- Knowledge of software systems integration, development, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience configuring and administering Windows Server and/or RHEL.
- Knowledge of software configuration and deployment management.
- Experience with virtual machines and virtualization technologies including VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP network protocols.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Perl, Python, batch, or Bash.
- Knowledge of relational databases including SQL Server or Oracle.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, analytical, organizational, and autonomous working skills.
