Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical leadership for complex software, middleware, and hardware initiatives across multiple platforms.
- Design, develop, implement, architect, maintain, and support production-grade applications and databases.
- Drive technical design, translate product direction into executable engineering approaches, and align sequencing and dependencies with delivery and product partners.
- Review code, technical changes, documentation, and technical deliverables while overseeing functional, performance, and security testing.
- Resolve complex technical issues, lead root-cause analysis and remediation, and proactively mitigate delivery and production risks.
- Contribute hands-on to software development using maintainable code, automated testing, scalable engineering patterns, and modern development practices.
- Mentor team members, promote engineering standards and best practices, and contribute to strategic product roadmaps.
- Drive continuous improvement across technical standards, tools, delivery methodologies, and developer productivity.
- Ensure solutions comply with IT and Information Security policies and support controlled business processes across front, middle, and back office functions.
Requirements
- Minimum eight years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Computer Applications, or a master’s degree in Computer Applications.
- Expertise in software architecture, system design, technical leadership, enterprise software, and cloud-based production systems.
- Demonstrated hands-on technical leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance experience.
- Experience with Angular or React, JavaScript or TypeScript, CSS, and Jest.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript or JavaScript, Java, and Spring.
- Experience with Python, event-driven architecture, Medallion Architecture, data ingestion, transformation and load, and relational databases including PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools and continuous delivery pipelines, specifically Git and GitHub.
- Proficiency with AWS technologies including CloudFront, S3, ECS, IAM, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Glue, Step Functions, Athena, and CloudWatch.
- Experience using AI-assisted engineering and GenAI tools such as Claude Code and Copilot Agent.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Consultant, or Databricks.
