Base Salary
$181k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable backend services using Scala, Java, Go, C++, C, or similar technologies.
- Build distributed systems powering the Data Intelligence Platform across sovereign and air-gapped clouds.
- Resolve architectural trade-offs involving concurrency, storage, and networking in high-consequence public sector environments.
- Optimize engines and services for zero-waste compute efficiency in resource-constrained and specialized regions such as GovCloud.
- Partner with Production Engineering to meet security, compliance, and high-availability requirements.
Requirements
- Eligibility for a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance is required.
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- 9+ years of professional software development experience are required for the Staff level.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization is required.
- Strong production-level experience in Java, Scala, Go, C++, or a similar language is required.
- Experience building and deploying large-scale SaaS or cloud-native applications is required.
- A current counterintelligence or full-scope polygraph is highly desirable.
