Base Salary
$96k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor KFC production environments and improve dashboards, alerts, logging, telemetry, and other observability capabilities.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and restore production systems while contributing to incident response, post-incident actions, and root cause analysis.
- Support cloud-based, containerized, and infrastructure-as-code environments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab.
- Develop scripts, tools, and automated workflows using Python, Go, Bash, and REST APIs to reduce operational toil.
- Contribute to availability, scalability, resilience, performance, deployment readiness, production validation, and change verification.
- Maintain operational runbooks and participate in the SRE 24/7 on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent technical experience.
- 1 to 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, infrastructure, application support, software engineering, or a related technical role.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute and networking concepts.
- At least 1 year of experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, Elastic, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- At least 1 year of experience with incident and problem management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or Incident.io.
- Familiarity with Linux systems, command-line utilities, networking fundamentals, containerized environments, Kubernetes or EKS, scripting, programming, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD tools including GitLab.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
