Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to assess clients’ cloud security maturity and requirements.
- Design target-state cloud security architectures for multi-cloud environments, including identity, workload protection, secrets management, IaC security, network access, and enterprise security integrations.
- Deliver cloud security product demonstrations, proofs of concept, technical presentations, and customer briefings.
- Translate complex cloud security concepts into business-relevant value propositions for technical and executive audiences.
- Develop and maintain reference architectures, battle cards, competitive analyses, technical briefs, and vendor evaluation frameworks.
- Evaluate cloud security vendors and recommend partner adoption, platform consolidation, and legacy solution retirement.
- Conduct enablement and training sessions for engineering and sales teams.
- Identify new cloud security opportunities, optimize service offerings, and support revenue growth.
- Collaborate with partner teams to create integrated cloud security services and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Track emerging cloud threats, adversary tactics, regulatory developments, and evolving cloud attack surfaces.
- Contribute to practice growth, innovation initiatives, and standards for high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- At least 7 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years focused on cloud security architecture, cloud infrastructure security, or cloud-native security engineering.
- Experience in presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting in cybersecurity or cloud security.
- Hands-on experience designing and securing environments on one or more major cloud platforms.
- Experience presenting cloud security topics to customers, internal teams, or professional groups.
- Intermediate proficiency overseeing IT projects and managing technical requirements and specifications.
- Intermediate ability to define, design, build, and maintain systems and infrastructure solutions.
- Intermediate ability to write, debug, and maintain code in scripting or programming languages for automation and software solutions.
- Intermediate understanding of infrastructure components and orchestration tools.
- Intermediate ability to develop Statements of Work and support professional services revenue growth.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CCSP, CISM, cloud platform security certifications, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SANS GIAC certifications such as GCLD, GPCS, and GPEN, CEH, ITIL Foundation, or ITIL Specialist.
