Base Salary
$66k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for target applications.
- Develop and evaluate hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system designs with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software for real-time tactical radio control.
- Develop software test procedures, programs, and related documentation.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree or have completed one within the last 12 months in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Materials Science Engineering.
- Ability to relocate every 12 months throughout the three-year program.
- Preferred: exposure to CAD or FEA tools and experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, or mechanisms.
- Preferred: familiarity with transducer instrumentation, data collection, automation, or software programming for numerical analysis.
- Preferred: ability to generate free body diagrams, determine reaction forces, calculate internal loads, and develop shear and moment diagrams.
- Preferred: working knowledge of at least one programming language.
