Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to identify, prioritize, and clarify problems where AI can provide value.
- Run discovery sessions, map current processes, define success measures, and create actionable problem statements and plans.
- Design and build copilots, agents, RAG applications, workflow automations, and other AI solutions.
- Choose between custom development and low-code platforms based on the needs of each problem.
- Integrate solutions with enterprise systems, data, APIs, cloud services, and authentication.
- Deploy solutions to production and own their adoption, support, monitoring, evaluation, and ongoing improvement.
- Collaborate with security, architecture, governance, compliance, privacy, and operations teams to make solutions enterprise-ready.
- Explain AI capabilities, limitations, risks, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Document designs and decisions, coach teammates, review designs, and contribute to shared standards and reusable patterns.
- Support user adoption through training, feedback sessions, and change support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Five to eight years of experience in software, solutions, data, or ML engineering, including at least two years building AI, ML, or automation solutions.
- Programming experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or a similar language, plus willingness to use low-code platforms when appropriate.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, agents, prompt engineering, and AI output evaluation.
- Current familiarity with Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and leading open-source models and their practical use cases.
- Hands-on experience building, integrating, and deploying applications on Azure with APIs, cloud services, and authentication.
- Experience leading requirements discussions with business stakeholders and defining success measures.
- Track record of owning projects end to end and delivering them to production with limited direction.
- Clear communication skills with technical audiences, business stakeholders, and senior leaders.
- Preferred experience applying AI or analytics in quality or commercial settings, shipping AI agents, RAG applications, or copilots, and using LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, MCP, Power Platform, containerization, monitoring, observability, or production support.
- Preferred background in business analysis, consulting, product management, or regulated environments.
