Base Salary
$115k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical development, modernization, architectural evolution, scalability, and long-term enhancement of the AI Code Scanner platform.
- Develop and support the React-based web application, dashboards, workflow management, administrative features, and secure authentication and authorization patterns.
- Maintain and extend Python orchestration and scanning services, API integrations, automated vulnerability analysis, reporting, and verification workflows.
- Integrate Azure AI Foundry and LLM-based security analysis capabilities, including agent-based workflows and automation.
- Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows, CI/CD pipelines, ephemeral runner infrastructure, and deployment automation.
- Design and support Azure services including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Monitoring and Logging, and Azure Entra ID.
- Improve platform reliability, observability, security, scalability, and AI-powered vulnerability detection.
- Deliver new scanning and reporting capabilities and drive modernization of architecture and development practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience and experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in regulated environments.
- Expert-level React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, API design, integration, automation, orchestration, test automation, and quality engineering experience.
- Experience with modern single-page application architecture, REST APIs, authentication integrations, and secure software development.
- Experience designing GitHub Actions workflows, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, container technologies, and cloud-native solutions.
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Entra ID, Managed Identities, and Azure RBAC.
- Experience integrating large language models, Azure AI Foundry or equivalent AI platforms, and agent-based automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization using OAuth, OIDC, and SAML; secrets management; container security; application security; and vulnerability management.
- Preferred experience building security scanning platforms, with an application security or DevSecOps background.
- Preferred experience with SARIF, static analysis tools, Docker, Kubernetes, sandboxed execution environments, Azure APIM, enterprise networking, and AI-assisted developer or security tooling.
- Prior experience in financial services or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Ability to independently own and evolve a strategic cybersecurity platform.
