Responsibilities
- Create and implement IT software solutions and services for business and infrastructure needs.
- Implement functional and nonfunctional requirements in final solutions.
- Coordinate with application architects to ensure designs are appropriately implemented.
- Develop interoperable solutions, prototypes, implementation plans, and transition plans.
- Lead team members in developing a shared understanding of solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, maintainability, usability, IT standards, security, and policy requirements.
- Provide input on program estimation and project planning.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, IT, business management, vendors, and global committees.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of overall IT experience with Java/Java EE, data modeling, and relational database management systems.
- Experience with ORM technologies such as TopLink or Hibernate.
- Experience with SOAP/web services and WebSphere application server or a similar platform.
- Experience with source code repositories, automated testing, Agile principles, analysis and problem resolution, performance tuning, Spring Framework, and cloud technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or an equivalent relevant discipline.
- Preferred experience with JSF, JSP, Angular, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud, Gradle, Jenkins, uBuild, Ant, Maven, Sonar, Sonargraph, FindBugs, code coverage, JavaScript, Mockito, EasyMock, JMockit, Eclipse, NetBeans, and IntelliJ.
- Completion of the required J2EE Checklist.
