Responsibilities
- Advise CTOs, CISOs, IT executives, security engineers, network engineers, and physical security leaders on Verkada solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and collaborate with sales teams to qualify enterprise opportunities and design technical solutions.
- Lead product demonstrations and deliver presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical assistance to Enterprise Account Executives and serve as a Verkada technical subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with Product, Support, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed, estimated at 40% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, IT Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Expert experience in cloud security, IoT systems, networking, Linux systems, security surveillance, and access control.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, and Layer 2 devices.
- Experience with IT infrastructure, Linux operating systems, APIs, Python, and other coding languages is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, account management, follow-through, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Must be located in Melbourne, independently authorized to work in Australia, and willing and able to travel.
- Network+, Security+, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar industry certifications are a plus.
