Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using React.js.
- Build reusable UI components with Material UI or similar libraries according to design specifications.
- Consume and integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets, and contribute to API testing and validation.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable frontend code and unit tests for frontend components.
- Ensure frontend applications meet accessibility, performance, scalability, and security best practices.
- Support frontend monitoring, logging, error tracking, and reliable user experiences.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA, backend engineers, and senior engineers to deliver features.
- Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, learning, and productivity.
Requirements
- 2 –5 years of professional frontend development experience with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces.
- Exposure to Material UI or similar component libraries and Backend-for-Frontend design patterns.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs, with exposure to GraphQL, WebSockets, or similar methods.
- Basic knowledge of relational and non-relational databases for API integration and debugging.
- Exposure to cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Exposure to frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, Docker, frontend observability tools, and CDNs.
- Basic understanding of web performance tuning, accessibility, authentication flows, and prevention of XSS and CSRF.
- Experience working in Agile teams and using AI-assisted coding tools effectively.
- Preferred exposure to Redux, Recoil, Zustand, Blazor, Next.js, Webpack, Vite, Esbuild, Bun, Lighthouse, React Profiler, backend integration, or full-stack development.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, adaptability, ownership, and accountability skills.
