Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data infrastructure for machine learning and autonomy engineering teams.
- Develop backend services for data discovery and data lineage systems.
- Build and maintain performant, user-friendly, and fault-tolerant pipelines processing petabytes of data.
- Lead high-level system design, code reviews, and technical contributions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing and access using cloud ETL technology.
- Collaborate with ML, autonomy, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive platform adoption and address customer pain points.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a data engineer or data pipeline engineer.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Strong development experience with Python and SQL.
- Expertise with AWS services and solutions, including EKS, Lambda, and ETL.
- Experience designing and developing distributed systems.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment.
- Infrastructure monitoring, cross-functional development, agentic workflow, or autonomous vehicle experience is preferred but not required.
