Base Salary
$115k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, integrate, test, and demonstrate algorithms and software systems for autonomous platforms.
- Develop software tools and applications for mission planning, automated control, unmanned platforms, and autonomous reasoning.
- Support programs across the software and system development lifecycle, from early prototypes through integrated systems.
- Perform backend algorithmic development involving data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and executable optimization.
- Integrate and test complex software systems and support DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 2+ years of experience are required.
- At least 1 year of experience with C++ or Java is required.
- Full-stack development experience with a heavy focus on backend algorithmic development is required.
- Demonstrated understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, concurrency, code optimization, and algorithm implementation, integration, and testing is required.
- Experience with JIRA, SonarQube, software lifecycle methodologies, and test-driven development is expected.
- Preferred qualifications include an active security clearance, a master’s degree, Python, reinforcement learning, agentic AI, embedded or physical-device programming, multi-agent coordination, MAVLink or other C2 protocols, Unreal Engine, ROS, TAK, DevSecOps, CI/CD toolchains, constraint satisfaction algorithms, and knowledge representation or ontologies.
