Responsibilities
- Develop a challenging complete web application with mentorship across front-end and back-end work.
- Write maintainable, testable, and performant software.
- Participate in code reviews and perform extensive testing.
- Research new technologies and tools and share findings with the team.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with the software development or QA team.
Requirements
- Computer Science or Software Engineering degree from Tecnológico de Costa Rica.
- Strong command of core programming and computer science concepts.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTTP, browsers, the DOM, SSL, and web servers.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or QA principles.
- Advanced English and strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, desire to deliver high-quality work, and interest in improving software development workflows and processes.
- Full-time availability for 40 hours per week during the 16-week program.
