Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor frontend applications.
- Participate in pull request reviews, planning, and feature refinement sessions.
- Translate business requirements into functional frontend solutions with stakeholders across Julius Baer divisions.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to align frontend solutions with the overall architecture vision.
- Contribute to software engineering communities by sharing expertise and supporting peers.
- Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable frontend code according to Julius Baer guidelines and standards.
Requirements
- Frontend engineering experience focused on React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Understanding of frontend architectures, responsive design, and performance optimization.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
- Strong communication skills and fluent English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Pragmatic, proactive, open-minded, and entrepreneurial approach.
